I'm sensing some "anxiety" in some of the threads here......  [frown]

Understandable to some extent due to the fact that we fishermen aren't fishing and the testosterone is getting high.......

So, since I was feeling that way as well, I wondered off down to the lake and fished off the bank.  Good afternoon......not much in the way of fish but I did catch some nice Paokie fish.  I let them all go so they could grow up and Paokie could catch em later.  [smile]

Good part about bank fishing is that at least you get to watch the water splash when you lure hits and you get to feel a tug on that rod......since it's been a while.....

I used Lil Smokies and earthworms.  Caught catfish on the lil smokies over the worms 2:1.

Nothing big.  Maybe biggest kitty was 1.5 pounds.

Had a blast though.  Came back home and wife said "thank goodness you went because you were getting a little cranky".  [smile]

Paokie......I know your lips are watering......

This one was so big it hurt my shoulder to hold it up!!!

One of my buddies, Adrian Acosta, fixed this one up for me.  So true!!!!

I feel the tension too Axe, since I don't live at the lake I went to a Steve Miller concert last night, Jimmy Vaughan opened for him.  Great show, but there sure were a lot of old people there.  How are all these old people staying up to listen to Rock and Roll until 11:00 pm?

Saying many prayers for those whose lives and livelihoods have been impacted so dramatically by the high water.

Sounds like a fine day Ax.  And a beautiful day for it.

Are you talking about the lil smokie weenie thingy's you buy at that store?  I'm still a rookie here so forgive my ignorance on what you are talking about there.

Yes russcat he is, don't buy the cheapo's either, they just fall off the hook, no need to marinate in barbecue sauce, just right out of the package

Nice work Joe. You are the trash fish master. Ditch pickles and gasper goo. The catfish and bream will fry up good. I'm ready to get off the bank and do some real fishing.[smile]

Ax, in the first pic you posted there's no fish on my screen, just you holding an empty line?  Do you think Paokie poached that perty drum and is a fixin' to throw it on the fire? [confused]

Russcat, yep.  But ya gotta buy Hillshire's......they have more oil in them.  Plus, bait a hook, eat a bait.  [smile]

Striperfix, Paokie says he'd rather eat drum than catfish.  Next few drum I catch, I'll mail 'em to him......and not use priority mail.  [smile]
