I got a slow start Saturday morning. 😉
Launched at Mill Creek about 9:30 or so. 😉 Fished Boy Scout Flats for about an hour and was zeroed at that point. Dennis and Clayton Curtis wondered over by me and point out the fact that they had some good fish in the box. Thanks guys. My ego deflation system kicked in. Not be be outdone by the dynamic duo, I headed over to Goose Island. Was headed to 377 bridge but detoured. Lot of small fish around the island. Every fish I caught came on a teaser hook. Lots of fun but not many fish. It's always fun on the water. 😉 Went back to Mill Creek and parked in the new home for The Beast. I've put off renting a slip for years and years. But at this point in my life, launching and loading every trip has become a chore. I know I'll fish more now 'cause all I gotta do is step on tha boat. 😉 __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures

Absolutely agree regarding a slip. I've had one with a lift since 2004 and the day I don't have it is the day I get rid of my boat. I also enjoy hanging out at the marina even if I don't take my boat out.

Hey there Ax, saw you out there Sat. in Big Min. Would have said hello, but you were busy slabbin' and thumpin' and we didn't want to spook your school. All we caught there were small ones also. All on top, couldn't get anything on slabs. Will have to get some teasers tied on next time. Thanks for the post.
