Thanks to George Pratt for taking me out. Still healing from a groin slicing so I couldn't push or pull on my boat.
George even bought me breakfast and lunch! We went out and looked around for birds. Caught a few nice fish. George caught a striper on his second cast. Still sorta weird on the top water bite. George was catching fish in 2 feet of water with a plastic. I'm pounding the bank with a top water. They'd hit the plastic but not the top water. We headed out into deeper water. Fish have been out deep running 25-30 feet. We were not disappointed. Easily caught two limits. Biggest fish was 23" long. George talked with Chris Carey and they had caught a 32" fish. It was a great relaxing morning. We caught so many fish my left arm was hurting. Headed in and went straight to Patsy's for a cheeseburger. George was eating healthy so instead of fries with his burger; he had fried okra. __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures

Son and I hit Texoma yesterday early morning. Shout out to the gentleman in the red/white Falcon that shared some fishing tips. Launched at Juniper West. Fished west of bridge with no luck, found large flock of birds early morning with no luck. Set jugs just east side of bridge and headed east to the islands. We caught a few striper, one over, and a couple of 18"ers. West back and picked up our jugs and just two blues and headed home at dusk. Had a wonderful time on the lake, will keep trying and learning!
