Fished today with Thomas Powell, aka Loco Pescado of Loco Pescado Fishing Guide Service.
We had to run around looking a bit before we found fish that wanted to cooperate. It's amazing how a little wind shift to the north can influence things.......... But we got on the sand bass and kept a good box of fish for me to clean. We used a 1 ounce ghost minnow with foil (experimental lures) and a new green/white RL100 slab without foil but with a dressed treble of pearl fluorescent flashabou. Both rigs had teaser hooks on them. I caught over 50% of my fish on the teaser hook instead of the slab. Thomas caught about 50% of his on the teaser hook. We prolly caught 5 or 6 doubles. On one strike, I thought I had hooked a big goo but it was 2 sand bass that went about 16" a piece. That was fun. Fishing should improve over the next couple of days as the wind is going to shift back from the south. We'll be out there searching. __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures
