I got out at daybreak on the jetski and headed toward the dam. First time to fish this year. I was very discouraged after reading how slow it has been.
I trolled around for 30 or 45 minutes and then spotted some large splashes off in the distance.
I cast and hooked up with a small one. Then cast again and kaboom! He went about 28 inches.
And then they were gone..... Nada for the rest of the morning. Attached Images

well, looks like there still some stripers in the lake.
I really miss Texoma but think I'll wait for the weather to cool a little. I don't relish a skunk and by all reports the lake is dishing those out on a regular basis.
