Texoma has been tough to get into but the fishing is still good. I talk with guides regularly and they are all doing well. Don't let the recent rains make you put off hiring a guide.
I got an invitation from Jerry Hamilton to go fishing at Ray Roberts. I know it's not a Texoma report but I thought I'd fill some space. 😉 Jerry knows Ray Roberts like the back of his hand. I was truly impressed with his knowledge of the lake. Now I'll have to get him up here and show him around Texoma a bit. 😉 We launched about 9 a.m at IDB. Jerry was kind enough to let me get in the boat prior to launching and he did the wading. I didn't realize Ray Bob was up that much. But what a nice lake. Driving in I saw all kind of wildlife. Ya gotta be careful there because of all the deer. Jerry had told me the bite had been firing up around noon and he was right. We picked at the fish until 11:30 and then the sandies started getting active. We limited out in pretty short order. We came in a Jerry said he didn't need any fish so they were all mine. He helped me clean 'em, packed 'em ice for me, and wouldn't accept any gas money! What a guy!! Thanks Jerry. I had a great time of fellowship and fishing. I'll prolly send him a little "package" of thanks.

I'm not a guide, but the lake looks like a plummer's worst nightmare.
