Haven't been fishing too much due to some issues so I went out this morning with high expectations.
Caught zero fish. First time to get skunked in a while. 😉 I tried behind the islands for a while and then headed over to Caney Creek. Wind blowing like a banshee. When is it going to stop!!!!! Headed over to Rabbi Cove. Back to Sand Bass Pass. Then to Boy Scout Flats. Same story. Marked fish every where but not a hit. Threw sassys, cohos, and tried 6 different slab colors, weights and styles. Today, I was definitely the bug. Had a couple of trollers come by me. They had two fish on and were skimming them along the surface and didn't even know it. 😉 😉 __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures

Good to see a report from you Ax. We've experienced the skunk twice lately. Once out of Platter and again at the Dam. No lack of fish or bait on the Garmin, but nothing we tried would interest them. I'm puzzled by the lack of surfacing fish. We covered a lot of area despite terrible wind and never saw a fish break water. Discouraging, but we'll try again late week after the crowd. Maybe the boating bunch will stir some up.
