Launched at 6:30 a.m. and headed to my favorite spot between Soldier and Mac Creeks. Marked tons of fish in 19 feet of water. We caught crappie and channel cats.
Moved over towards 2 Creeks close to Washita Point but didn't mark much. Drifted from 20 into 16 feet and never marked much at all. Headed to West Burns run. Marked a lot of fish on the drop off. We'd start in 16 feet and drift out to 30 feet. Make 2 or 3 drifts. Caught channel cats. Headed to East Burns run. Didn't mark much. We eased into Gilligan's Island thinking fish might be shallow but never found any. Didn't see any splashes at all. Headed to the tip of North Island. Started our drifts in 15 feet of water and drifted out to 30 FOW. Marked a lot of fish. Caught a lot of fish (channel cats) on slabs. Yep...slabs. Headed down to the beach formerly known as Molokini and drifted into the Honey Hole. Marked a lot of fish. Never got a hit. At 11:30 a.m. headed to the Mobil Station for a cheeseburger basket. If you haven't had one of Red's cheeseburgers, ya need to stop in there and eat She knows how to cook em and leave just the right amount of grease in em that will run down your chin. I'm thinking things are gonna get better soon. They got to. __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures

I haven't caught a channel cat in quite some time, i've been catching nothing but blues lately.

Crappie and Channel cats...sounds like a good dinner. I'd drive up to Texoma to get a nice box of those. Things are picking up.
