So I'm walking down to my boathouse and like I always do I check the shallow water before going inside.

Hasn't been a thing swimming around shallow since mid Dec but today there was a group of about
twenty 4-6" bass  right up against the shoreline soaking up the sun.  I bet that less than 2 ft water is
mid 50's by late afternoon.

If the little ones are shallow the big ones have definitely moved in.

No excuses now. [smile]

You seem to be carrying a grudge against black bass.

Something from your childhood? [smile]

I could see them swim up with little perch, and bite my moles on my arm! Had a vendetta ever since.
