Fished out of Platter Flats with longtime buddy Fred Henderson. Saw large number of birds working before we even made it out to main lake. Only two other boats there so it was an ideal setup. Found a good mix of overs, box fish, and some big sandies for good measure. Caught em' by trolling, and stopping to cast occasionally. Crank bait were the choice esp. Rattletraps and KVD squarebills. We weren't looking to keep a lot, only a few boxers to blacken, so most released after careful revival. Weather was nasty with fog and mist, but I could see a large boat show out in the channel. They were stationary so I assume it was slab and bait time with them. Great action, great lake, and good friend to share it. I'm lovin' retirement!!!

Fished Nov 3. Weather as previously mentioned, mist and fog.  Fished with friend Bill. Fished Washita Flatts under the birds.  Best lure 3 inch rubber grub.  IMG_2370.JPG  IMG_2371.JPG
