Made reservations in early Dec. for a stay the week of May 14th. Called to confirm them and found out I did not have any. They had all there records on a server that went down around the 1st of the year without any back-up. Several people have showed up and no place to stay. Had to put my trip off  till June 4th now. Can not believe a business would not have a back of such important info.
Have also put this under fishing report to hope it helps someone.

That's not the first time they've screwed up schedules and reservations.......it's almost like ya gotta call them weekly to make sure things are still OK.

one way to rectify this would be for all to spread the word on them.  Enough people
quit booking them, they would soon get the message.

That would be a good idea for Alberta Creek bookings.  There must be good reviews from satisfied clients.

the problem is, that people who have a boat and come to the lake need a place for their boat without having to pay extra for keeping it in the water. alberta creek is the only one that provides free docking for rv'ers. i understand that newberry creek has plans for one in the future.

As a marina owner myself I know how difficult it is to make technology ALWAYS work.  These reservations systems are expensive to build and hard to maintain especially if your trying to sync your reservations with other sites to help build traffic without ridiculous advertising costs.  I know Bill over at Alberta and he is a great guy and I would hate to see him get any bad press when something happened that he didn't expect.  I know its frustrating but unless you want everything to be corporate, please understand that us individually owned entities try hard but sometimes bad things do happen.  We hope you understand that is never our intent and its not from our lack of effort or commitment.
