For those of you who still like to put out and anchor but really hate retrieving them. I've been playing all week with a new toy. The anchor retrieval system
Is easy to use and cost about $70 total. I was skeptical but it does work and makes retrieval something I no longer dread. Hardest part is lifting the anchor up out of the water. I use a 22 lb danforth style anchor and 10 ft of chain. Hard to keep a tritoon set in high winds sometimes. Make sure that you keep the transition between the rope and the chain fairly smooth or the ring tends to hang up there.
