Heading up tomorrow.  Have my go to fishing spots way west when its slow but just wondering how anyone did today in the main lake.  Birds working after a few warmer days?

I find that hard to believe?  100 plus views, crickets. Even bad reports help.

I could give a report on burning a rick of wood the last two weeks? But I don't think that helps either.

We went up Saturday and were able to catch shad in 28 feet of water outside of Cedar mills marina where the water was stained. You can mark the shad on your depthfinder on the bottom. Fished everywhere west with only one bite on a fluke. Should have done as JD did and trolled Alabama rigs along the ledges and drop offs....

It isn't good fishing. Looked from north island to up to north of the 70 bridge. Found some in the river channel but it seemed like the splasher chased them off. No birds working. I would look in the river channels where the creeks meet the river. I'd cut up some shad and use that if nothing else you might get some blue cats.

Worked west of 377 in dirty water....no whites, two blacks.  Headed east toward Cedar Mills, nada.  Boat ran well[smile]
