Lots of great trips where do I start and glad to be posting again here!
Not counting this week:
Last 4 trips to Tawakoni have been full boat limits of stripers and mag sand basses every trip to 9.06 lbs which was a hybrid and limits of mag sand basses every trip in the heat both morning and PM, 2 weeks ago in the rain was about the best with the 82 degree temps.

Left last Sunday AM early for the coast running 110% on the trip, GREAT trip kings, cobia, ling, schooling mahi mahi on sassy shads and slabs casted, sharks, bonita, several snapper. Fisherman played with cobia watching it snap its jaws and got too close, care flighted in with 23 stiches, them thangs bite you ! Then my turn my lifetime fish ! 8' Greater hammer head, on 4/0 Penn which was junk,  it bent reel frame, bent spool, burned up drag and broke another fisherman's rod, he could not handle it and was about to loose it and gave the rod to me. I sure wish I could caught it on my tackle- (Avet), I got 4 more sharks after that one too! I cant wait to get back to the saltwater ASAP.

Well now this week at Tawakoni got in last night from coast and was on Tawakoni before daylight ZERO fish till 8am them I found them, NO SANDBASS did not catch 1 ! 100% stripers to 9 lbs, full boat limits by 10am with 1-2 more limits released all the large ones too. 42' water mid lake suspended at 25' all on lures as always white ice 4" sassy shads with 1oz white jig heads and after boat limits  I went to my dad's
Cordell Blue Striper lure in blue/white/silver and got larger fish, only 1 under 18" all day, be back tomorrow as guests want a return trip, I will be playing with dad's 45 year old tackle and starting with wooden silver River Runts and white Pico Perch lures largest size I can find spooling his reels with 50 lb braid. Those Cordell Blue Stripers were Texoma killers and still do it. Original 5000 Abu.

I am so thankful I still can do all of this and hope to till I cant!

As good as it gets for me this last few weeks and to top it off we are still here !
