Headed out to Butterfly Cove again this morning but today I did not make it.  Launched at Eisenhower and was headed that way about 6:00am and about half way there I notice some small shad coming out of the water with some small fish chasing them.  I thought I better stop so I could catch a few small ones and not get skunked.  First two cast produced two small fish.  The next 20 minutes produced about 12 nice size fish. All of the fish today were within 20' of the bank.  I noticed some other boats down toward butterfly cove and they were catching fish also.  Several other small fish to total about 20 for the day.  There were lots of fish along the rocks around Eisenhower Park this morning.  All fish were caught on 4" white swim bait and all were released.  Great day on the lake.  Back at the ramp by 10:00am

Excellent!!  Saturday around 7:30 there were shad all over the place around Grand Pappy Point.  We didn't stop there as there were two boats fishing there already.  We played nicely.  😉
