Headed down Friday to fish a little. Not going to be able to get there till around noon. Think it's still possible to get bait. Going to put in at Alberta creek. I have always got bait in the morning before daylight. If anyone has any spots they would give give I would appreciate it. I will give a report on how things go.

Thanks

Should be no problem, bait is everywhere, we have shad breaking in our cove all day. I fished two days last week late, had no problem getting shad. Look for them to break and then spread the net right on them, they will tell you where they are.

Polar02,
I was in the back of Alberta Creek last night and it was full of shad! Just go back there as far as you can and toss a net I bet you catch a ton.... Stay to the south side going back there, it’s the deeper side.

Got bait around the docks. Fished south of Alberta and caught a few finally braved the wind and went to fish the flats. Marked tons of fish but not many takers. Ended up catching about 20. Still beats a day at work.

We put in at 1pm yesterday at Alberta. Marked lots of shad along creek channel while we idled out to the lake. Also saw shad flipping in back of cove at boat ramp. Very possible to catch bait all day right now. Good luck
