Don is an avid fisherman and a fan of the 6OG.  He was diagnosed with leukemia not long ago and is going through a difficult time.

We have been praying for a donor.  Prayers were answered and Don is in Baylor in Dallas.  The bone marrow transfusion will either be this Thursday or Friday.

Please pray for Don's full and speedy recovery.  He'll be in ICU for at least 30 days and then moved to another area of the hospital.  He could potentially be "incarcerated" for 120 days.

Don is still in ICU recovering from a bone transplant procedure.  He told me today he has a gall bladder stone.  That is going to complicate things a bit.  Still praying for his complete recovery!!!

Talked with Don last week.  He is out of ICU but is still in chemo 3 days aweek.  In the middle of all this, he had to have his gall bladder removed!!

He has about 8 weeks of chemo left and then he can finally stay at home a while.

He lives on Lake Kiowa so hopefully he'll be able to fish off his dock a bit.

I'm going to go down there and make sure he's strong enough not to fall in when a big bream hits.  [smile] [smile] [smile]

He's such an awesome guy.

Prayers!!

Don's wife sent me a text the other day. Don is in ICU in Dallas with pneumonia.  With his ongoing battles with leukemia, his immune system is done....

Keep Don in your prayers.  He has had an awful year.  [bawl]

I'm really saddened to share that Don passed away.  He was a great guy and a good friend.  He lived on Lake Kiowa and was a crappie guy guru!!  He'll be missed for sure.

He was in the Lord and is in Heaven right now.  I'll see him again for sure!!

Thanks for all the prayers.  He passed away peacefully with his family gathered around his bed.  That's the way I wanna go.  [smile]
