A recent one from mine, we caught fish almost an hour here. Big fish under bait. None were small.

I am a button pusher, if it's there I try it, the blue is best for my eyes, I did use the green for over a year, we killed them today!!
Try all of them if it  looks good I take a picture of the screen where I wont forget the settings.

The structure scan can be added to what u have,,, the picture Larry posted is down image on one half and sonar on the other..they are different in the way they work..the sonar bounces back all the time..the down image works when the boat is moving or the fish are moving...seeing them both at once really helps...I am a long way from mastering any of it..I play with it alot and try to learn..the side scan has been good ..but I dont really have it figured out either..the deep water at Texoma requires different settings than Kaw..you can split that hds 10 screen in up to four views...

When I bought my CC boat it had 2 HDS 8's side by side on it, the options are endless on the display modes, it took me awhile to know what I was looking at, I was fortunate to have friends that really know these units and helped me a lot.
