After fishing in the Six Old Geezer tournament earlier in the day, we decided to go out again that evening.  I caught a really nice fish that went about 14 lbs according to the scale I have in the boat.  She was released to swim another day.

No, she was alive and well when she swam off.  I use a rubber net and fish lip grabbers so I don't have to touch the fish.  Having sold both live tropical and salt water exotic fish in the past, I try to get them back in the water as quick as I can and not touch their natural slime coat to avoid any potential future infections.  I never keep my big fish unless they won't make it.
