Went out Wednesday morning with the intentions to just dead stick.
Tried a few areas that had been good this past weekend. The fish were scattered
out, not grouped up like before. Tried dead sticking for 2 hours, not even a bite.
Time to change tactics, got out the trolling rods and the next hour was pretty good.
Caught 8 nice fish, 6 overs. released all. We was trolling in 40-60 fow, about 20 feet down.

Thanks for the report. Glad you found a way that worked. Down riggers or long lining? Soft or hard plastics?

I was using those big umbrella rigs, white heads with chartreuse tails.
