Been fishing the neosho river at Fort Gibson lake really hard for a month and a half now and have been having a great time. Some days you can catch 30 some days literally 300. Seems like last Wednesday we caught several post spawn females so I'll be heading back to the lake soon and out of the river. On 3-29-17 I pulled a pig out of a pile of rocks with 2 go go minnows from fle fly tackle tied about a foot apart with a dropper loop knot in the lemon pie color. Immediately checked the tooth patch and confirmed it was a white bass and called the wildlife dept. We weighed it and measured it and it was 3.4lb and 18.5 inches long 14inches girth and they gave me the official lake record.
