Water was the color of cheap hot chocolate and very high. I had to fish some of the cables ties from below the water line. Crappie were a no show but lucked into this 22 inch striper that decided since he could not get a dink crappie for supper my shiner would do fine. This fish was a real hoot on my 10 foot crappie rod. Can't tell from the photo but this fellow was in real good shape. With the drag set loose to make it easy for me to adjust depth on my minnow took me a long time to get him in. The little Gamakatsu number 8 hook hung in there pretty good. I thought for a long time it was just one of those big blue cats that hang out up there in the winter. Pretty rare to get a striper in muddy water.
Can't remember a skunk on Texoma but almost got one yesterday. Hope y'alls fishing goes well.
