that many guides have packed up and left Texoma? Were the stripers washed away in the flood last year? The airboat guides made a killin' catchin fish on every cast below the dam when the gates were open?? Someone told me all this recently.

I've heard from a guide I know that the last two years have really "thinned" down the guide population. I am not sure if it is true or not. It is a tough way to make a living, and I am sure sorry for everyone whose job depends on the lake. I do know of one former guide who has opened up a bait and tackle shop. Marinas have to be struggling too. Prayers for all impacted.

I don't know, but saw some strange guides on the lake last weekend. One guy in a 30ft center console I watched chum the lake with shad as if they were in the ocean. Saw another 25ft+ fan boat guide cruising in open water.
