Put in early, trying to beat the crowd. the water temp has cooled off a little.
Caught better fish then in weeks past, fished until 10:30am, cleaned 18 nice crappie.
Didn't have to throw back many small 's this time. fished the brush 20' FOW.
Also fished Saturday about the same result. should be better fishing as the temps cool off.

I wish I could catch crappie.  That's one elusive species.....  [smile]  Only crappie I've caught in recent years has been by accident.  But I keep trying.

I've been lucky at RR, been fishing it since it opened, got a lot of the brush piles marked. just have to move around until you find the right depth. they start changing depth this time of year, so you never know.

Caught this one a few years back , had it mounted thought I would probably never catch another one like it. 18" 3lb.... IMG_3052.JPG
