I overheard someone say that the level would be at 226 on Sunday so maybe after then.
With all the problems on the Mississippi it could be a while.

GP is shuttling people to their boats. I had to wade through 6 inches of water covering the walkway to get to mine on NYD at just under 626. 627+ now. whenever they open the gates, I'll probably just bank fish below the dam until the water level gets better. I got a 100% skunking last time out. Didn't try for cats, but tried pretty hard for all types of bass.

Yes, current projection is 628.  Here is a schedule that I look at everyday that is usually put out by 8:00 am by the COE.  Unless conditions are really bad, its only updated once every morning.  Once levels fall below flood stage, it rarely gets updated at all.

A lot of times they'll post future release schedules, etc. but they're subject to change (and they do) so keep that in mind.  This past Monday they predicted the crest was supposed to be 626 on Jan 2.  On Dec 31 it was changed to 628 on Jan 4th.
