Well, I found out the Tractor Supply WATER PROOF lights for tractors aren't submersible.  [bawl]

I use two of them for bait lights as well as green LED strips mounted under the gunwale.

I threw the net the other day and it got hung on my Tractor Supply lights that I had in my rod holder.  Overboard they went.

Half the LEDs on one side no longer work.  Bummer.

Replaced it today.  They are $64.99 each so I'm moving them off the top of the gunwale and mounting them on my T-Top out of harm's (Ax's) way.  [biggrin]

I use the same lights you're referring to but fortunately they have never seen more than the rain.  Looks like the synonym "water-resistant" better defines what they refer to as "waterproof." [frown]

Yeah.  I have found over the last 10 years, that "water proof" and "water resistant" are definitely two different things but somehow the marketeers haven't figured that out yet.  [mad]
