Has anyone else had trouble getting their Little George's to run true and spin? The last SEVERAL I have bought are not even useable right out of the box. They just tumble around in circles. I'm frustrated. I use to love little George's but now they seem to be junk. Someone from Manns should go fishing with them and address their quality issues. What used to be a staple in my tackle box is now nothing but a waste of money. Junk!

Yes Please! I've been experiencing problems with them for a long time now. But I keep buying new ones hoping it was just a bad run of them. I keep getting a lead weight that looks like a lure that don't work! Sunday on Lavon I tied on 5 in a row that didn't work. I'm done with them. I'll be ordering some humdingers I guess. Ax, If you make any of these let me know. I'll order from you instead.

Really now, I think they are doing something wrong with their treble hooks, maybe too large or too light and cheap. I have been feathering the cast at the end, and stopping it before it hits the water, but it still hangs up now and then.

For me the line is not getting hung up on the hook. The entire lure spins around in circles instead of holding true and the spinner working. I can always tell when it isn't working because there is little resistance and you don't feel that spinner doing its thing.

What I see is the treble hook is getting hung up on it's lead body.

I use Super Humdingers. They are my go to sandie or small mouth hot summer rig. And I have caught so many striper and hybrid on them too. I keep a super Humdinger tied on a spare rod so if I see a school breaking you can long cast and fast rip it back and will usually get a hit. I will have to try the Lures mentioned above. Always open for a new throw toy to lose. I have no affiliation to them I met Leroy once that's it.

Also to keep the hook from getting the line reel it almost all the way up to the top with less than an inch of line out when casting. It helps me a lot. I hope it helps you. The lil George needs to have a stronger tail wire Bend it straight to compensate for the spinning. That is why I went to the dingers and will try a tail Zinger. Lil George are aggravating to me.

Aggravating is right! I ordered some humdingers but haven't got to try them yet. they look better than little georges but looks don't mean nothing. I also bought a couple of tail zingers. I'm done with little georges. I have at least 10-12 brand new ones in my tackle box that don't work. I was told by a fellow who pm'd me the bead gets stuck in the loop of the wire behind the spinner which prevents the spinner from spinning. He said you have to close the loop of the wire tighter to prevent this and make them run properly. This fix is easy enough but goes to show you the people that make them have no interest in quality control. If they did they would have had this corrected a long time ago.
