Broke down and bought a fishing kayak that I can pedal.  [smile]

Old Town Predator PDL.  OT is owned by Johnson Outdoors who owns Minn Kota.  The drive system for the PDL is assembled from standard Minn Kota TM parts and is easy to maintain.

The PDL is currently the fastest kayak in production.  Speeds attainable over 6 mph.

Nice and stable.  Tried it out last week. Caught no fish on maiden voyage.  [frown]

I had a 17' Folbot ocean kayak for years, and out fished real boats in both the ocean and freshwater.

That looks good! It seems that you could have an amazing ride! Kayaking can be a favorite past time with it.  You know its my way to enjoy the natural setting of the coastal region. It is indeed captivating.

Went out for 5 hrs. got a limit of 3-10 lb stripers, most on trolling a gold thunderstick along the shore ledges and points, stopping to cast a 1/2 oz white bucktail, and a green slab.
