Been awhile since I posted, nothing to add !
been on Tawakoni 1-2 times a week and Cedar Creek a few times (today) and I realize the last 4 years have spoiled me bad, In my last 6-7 trips and I go every week any weather I have caught 3 fish, sand bass small, 42.6 lb blue cat on a fluke and a under hybrid.  We have 3-4 boats in out group and some really good talent and it has been the same for all.
The Ray Hubbard guys are catching we are not.
Over and out.

I'm told that the sand bass bite on slabs has slowed at Ray Roberts as well.  I haven't been down there in a while due to other things going on but I hope to soon!!!

Still pouting here, Tawakoni still not worth the gas we switched to lake fork, you will catch there, huge sand bass, deep water out from dam, larger fish in about 50' smaller holding about 34', I got 17 last Monday nice size fish, med hvy slab on bottom and a plain hook with a small grub above it, 1 fish caught on the slab rest on the grub. Mid morning was better. $3 launch good ramps at Oak Ridge & Minnow Bucket, good food too.
I will be back as soon as the weather calms some.

Either a slab or jig head with 4" fluke heavy enough to keep line straight on the bottom, usually white or chrome with a small 3" curly tail grub in chatruse about 18" above it on a dropper loop with plain hook. Larger fish in 50' smaller suspended about 34' all on structure out from the dam, between last buoy and dam area, we will be back this week
