Other than stopping on one school of Stripers as we were idling out from the ramp, we Bass fished on Sun. until Noon.
Lots of small flocks of Birds working Big Mineral to Cardinal to Islands to Texas bank across from Islands, just “everywhere”.

Back to the Bass, it’s hard to really get’em dialed in and figure out a pattern during a 4-5 hour trip, but we caught a few.
They were mostly small, Clayton didn’t think any were picture worthy, he's prolly right, but I posed with a few.
No big fish, we’ve struggled a bit here recently, hopefully we’ll get’em figured out, because it was real good this spring.
Lots of 2-1/2 - 4 pounders, several tournaments had multiple bags over 20 lbs, for a 5 fish stringer that’s pretty solid.

Most of the ones we caught Sunday were shallow on Brush Hogs, Crankbaits and Spinnerbaits.
Here's a couple Stripers from the Birds working just out from GBC.

Clayton did sight cast and catch a plump one that was picture worthy, lol.
We took it home and put it in the Chicken Pen for them to enjoy.[smile]

Nice to see a bass report now and then. Did that orange one put up much of a fight?

"...Did that orange one put up much of a fight?".... lol, no not really, just a slow steady pull, not even sure it knew it was hooked.[biggrin]
