Got up early and caught bait for the first time in a while. The Falcon is back in business, so I have that option again.
Found them coming through about halfway between Mac creek and Washita point in 25 fow, and sat and picked at them for a while, then moved out to the Mac creek ledge close to the river in 55 fow, where they were suspended 30-40 foot down. Caught a nice limit of bigger 16-20 inch fish and was done before 10. I used the 1/2 inch net in the morning to filter out only the larger shad, which paid off. Every time I put a smaller shad on, it would immediately get taken by an undersized striper, but the larger ones draw the bigger fish, and there happened to be plenty of them. No overs, but did get a nice bag of fillets and lots of action.

Lots of fish being caught off Table Top/ Like you stated, 35 - 40 fow is the ticket for larger fish. Sounds like a great time!! __________________ Axman http://www.reaxtionlures.com http://www.facebook.com/reaxtion.lures
