Going to be coming down to lake Thursday for a pre retirement fishing trip. Staying at Catfish Bay and will be in a royal blue Nautic Star bay boat. Always have plenty of cold drinks on board, of all kinds, so if ya see me give me a holler.
Been reading all of you retired guys post for years and decided it is time to let someone else keep the bad guys in line and for me to start enjoying life. I am planning on retiring officially in November but am on a week to week time line right now.
Would love to pick up some slabs that axeman makes. Can anyone advise where I could pick some up on the Oklahoma side of the lake. Don't know if Walmart has made a deal with him yet to carry his products.

He delivers!

Texoma Tackle east of Kingston had them. I don't know about now. Ax'll chime in.

You can visit his web site and order what you want. He will mail them to you. That's what I did.

Thanks for info. Got down to cf bay yesterday. Found fish yesterday afternoon at platter flats. Caught several nice box fish and smaller fish. Caught one monster that was just an inch longer than the rattle trap I was using.
Man I love this lake!!!

I can fix you up!  Congrats on the retirement!!  I really don't sell to retailers 'cause they don't want to pay more than 60% of my web price.  I guess I could lose money and make it up in volume.  There ain't much profit in lures.  It's a labor of love for sure!!

Just contact the web site or email me.

Again, congrats!!!

Paokie, I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be rude. I didn't see your post on offering some slabs. (Two many cold ones I guess and I have hell reading my Iphone without my glasses. I would have liked to meet up with you. Ill be back in a few weeks and maybe we can hook up.
We caught fish all day long at the creek channel just north of Platters Flat all weekend. Lots of really big sandbass and over a hundred small fish a day.
Took sister-in-law out for the first time and she caught a 3lb striper. Wont be long till she'll be after my brother in law to buy a boat.
Texoma is great
