A lady on our church prayer list slipped on ice in Wisconsin a week ago and fractured her skull. Be careful out there in bad weather.

Read something interesting the other day. Hope I never have a chance to try it out but wish I'd read it when I was up north and had to deal with ice. Went down a few times myself but always lucky in the landing. WALK LIKE A PENGUIN. Instead of your normal walk lean forward slightly and keep your weight straight down on your feet. As you take your next step move your body over your foot and keep your weight over that foot as you put it down. Supposedly this works for ice and is how penguins can walk on ice for miles and never fall down. Just a heads up since we're looking at a few more weeks of possible ice problems.
