Fishing has been great this fall and very consistent. With the water temp down in the low 60's stripers are going all day.

Fished Washita arm from RR bridge out to main lake. Got on fish slabbing in 30-40fow off of main river channel. Big numbers coming from throwing sassies in less than 20'. Fish chasing bait up top and relating well to structure. Caught a good number of overs, 24"-28", very nice to see. Lots of gulls to help us find them. AM shift was good but 3-5PM was lights out. A little cool and pretty windy but you nearly have it to yourself out there. Great times.

That's a 10# flathead on an Axemam prune picker slab by the way.

Maybe we won't freeze out early this year. It's been a lot of fun.

Great news! Have never landed flat head in many years of fishing this lake.

That's OK.

The flathead has been released... Into hot peanut oil!

We really enjoy eating flatheads and a smaller lake fish like this one is just awesome.
