Managed to get on the water Saturday morning launching from T.I. point. My grandsons were busy with other opportunities so I did a solo run.
Had a lot of fog starting out with light wind but still nice to be on the water. Fished until around noon fog had lifted and wind was up with some pretty heavy gust at times so headed back to boat ramp.
Overall great trip and even managed to have fish for a fish fry.
Here is an attempt to post some pictures.

Ax - put some of your lures to work - so many hits on the sassy shad it was tough threading it back on the hook after a catch. if we had been staying would have changed out.
(grandson had on his line)
This happened last Saturday's trip hit the water around 4pm.  Grandson had a blast - only saw one other boat in the area.

Enjoyed the report and pics [thumb]

I believe we fished the same area on Sat. Nov. 4, Northeast of your launch site, East of "mac" Cr..
I'd volunteered for Jerry Dorsey's Operation Welcome Home that day and had a group of 5 soldiers on my boat.
I was in the Skeeter center console with dark strip anchored off by itself, not too far from the two guide boats that were tied up.
Heck even kinda looks like my boat in that 2nd pic but ain't sure.

Glad you and grandson are catchin'em, Good Job !!!

DCurt - Yes that's the area I ended up.  With the fog I pointed my boat in the general direction that I wanted to go hoping for the best.
Thanks for volunteering - very worthy cause.
I tried to give boats anchored lots of room.
