Short fish equal short report.  Fished Saturday morning from the dam to the Dallas intake.  Caught several small fish ( about 10 inches ) and marked some bigger but they did not bite.  Some fish on top but they were all small.  Still a good day on the lake.

hey Texoma 1231 we were right there with you. Might have seen us in the camo Tracker. Same experience. Dinks stacked up along the rocks. Ended up catching ours by trolling bladebait through them. Fun but that doesn't stink up a skillet. Never had such poor luck on the big lake since I bought my boat in 2006. Come on Fall, come on gulls!!!

G Man....I did see you! We both had the same kind of luck.  I think that the big fish will back down our way when the lake turns over and cools off some  and you are right about the gulls.  I am ready for them also.  I will say hello next time I see you out on the lake.

I talked to some fishermen at the ramp that said some of their friends were having some good luck between the bridges up in OK.  That is not a bad run if there is not much wind but it can be rough if the wind does get up.

Hey 1231, The bridges are easily accessible from Platter flats ramp, but then that means a longer drive. We usually opt for that because long runs on Texoma in a  17 ft. aluminum boat often turns into an adventure. Tell me what kind of rig you fish out of and I'll watch for you on the water.

G Man.... you are right about the adventure especially if the wind is from the south!!!  I have a light brown G3 that is about the same size as yours.  Good luck this week and hope to see you on the water!!
