I finally mounted my Sunshine Splasher to the new tritoon.

I already have 4 batteries on the boat so I was trying to avoid adding another one specifically for the splasher.  One thing I learned a long time ago was NOT to run too many things off your main batteries.

You can't spin the outboard prop manually to crank it.  [smile]

So, I have a small 12V battery like those used in lawn tractors, etc.

I hooked up the splasher yesterday and let it run on "1".  The battery cratered in 4 hours.

So it lasted 4 hours with no load on it.  That means I'm gonna have to put another battery onboard for the splasher.

I have fished with the splasher the last two days.  I put a Group 24 battery on board dedicated to the splasher.  I've run it 8 hours in two days and the battery is holding up fine.

I have noticed on the tritoon that I have to pull the TM up when I'm traveling.  The tritoon doesn't plane out like a "boat" so the TM blade stays in the water.  On a "boat", the stern comes up and the prop clears the water.
