I know this is "old" news to some folks that have experience with the Splasher. I had one not long ago mounted on a brand new trolling motor. Got hit with a big wave and now the TM and Splasher is at the bottom around Mill Creek / Boy Scout area. I decided I was not going to spend another $100 bucks on a TM and another $50 on a Splasher. Well, I've watched over the last 9 months and I've seen and experienced the difference the Splasher makes. So, I bought a new Minn Kota 30 lb trolling motor at Academy and got a new Splasher. I'm going to mount it off the transom using a kicker motor mount this time. That way, when my wife surprises me with the 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke for trolling next year, I'll have a mount. Thanks George for a great product. It'll keep Bandit busy.

do they have the splasher at The Tackle Box ? Im still working on how to mount another trolling motor , think I got it figured out . I might get a day off next week if it rains , be a good time to run up to the boat house and see if I can mount the trolling motor.

Willy no Tackle Box doesn't carry the splasher. Our office is just east of there on the way to Lakeside. Call to be sure we aren't fishing or eating.

I still haven't mounted mine....I bought a fancy kicker motor mount.....as I had intended later to buy a 9.9 Yammie kicker motor..... Problem is you have to put a steel plate inside the transom and mount the kicker motor mount outside the transom...... Not that THAT is the problem....problem is all the "stuff" mounted on the inside of the transom: fuel filter, water/fuel separator, etc. etc. etc. I didn't plan that out very well. Anybody wanna buy a $100 kicker motor mount for $75. Anybody gotta teak 2 X 4?

Axman, how did you end up mounting your trolling motor? I'm trying to mount a MK 30 lb trolling motor to my Pure Bay and haven't figured out how best to do it.

I bought a TM mount off eBay. It is a good way to mount the TM. Of course, I haven't mounted mine yet. My plan is to run bolts through the mounting plate all the way through the rear structure and get some stainless bolts from Fastenol and attach it. Here's the mount I bought. I think it was $19.95. Can't remember. Search trolling motor mounts on eBay. It's powder coated aluminum and has a 4 bolt pattern in the base.

In the pic it's sitting on the front ledge. It'll be mounted on aft port side.

Do yourself a favor and screw a piece of 3/4 plywood on the side of the bracket for the trolling motor to bite into. Don't ask me how I know this.

If I could just figure out how to mount it, I would get one. Like to have it removable....just clamp it onto one of the ss rails on the side of the boat when I need it.

Camper Dan and I were out sand bassing. We were killing the fish. The screen on the sonar was clear but the fish would come to the noise of the splasher. All of a sudden, our catching frequency went down and by 10:30 a.m. we were catching no fish. It was then that I noticed the battery that runs my splasher had run down. After the splasher quit, we didn't catch another fish.

They work. Had a customer order one early in March that saw the proof while fishing with a buddy. Since his order we've sold no less then 14 in March because of eyewitness proof. Just call us @ 580 920 2085 or order on line.

Fished Ray Roberts two weeks ago. Pulled up, marked a few fish. turned the splasher one and marked a LOT of fish! It works.
