I get a lot of calls for Kansas Slabs.  I don't make 'em and I get tired of the calls.  [smile]  [smile]

So, I'm coming out with the TX Slab.  This should get a fish' attention.

Will pour in 2 and 3 ounce sizes.

What does a Kansas slab look like? If i got enough calls, maybe I would consider them.

They are straight and flat with no contours.

You could tie a line to a decoy weight and it'd be the same.  [smile]

The Kansas slabs were my favorite ones especially the purple white silver ones, I have all the sizes, there were 2 or 3 sizes, Soldier Creek marina used to have them as well as the Exxon at 1417 and 120. Soldier Creek was much cheaper, a surprise.

They have some left.  With the flood this summer and when all the turmoil over there, we didn't restock too much.

If you need something let me know and I can hand them off to you on the water.

We used a 2 ounce TX Slab the other day on some sand bass.  The sand bass were hitting 1 ounce lures but I tied on a silver TX slab to check it out.

Caught sand bass just like on a 1 ounce number, several 3 pound drum, and a large mouth bass.

Then, something hit it, set the hook and poof....it was gone.

Had tied it on using a Trilene knot so I don't figure it was the knot.  New 12# Big Game mono line.

I figure a gar hit it.....

It was the only one I had with me....
