They're tryin'....they've got it into the 613's.

Lots of fish up shallow and on the banks spawning, just soon not see their eggs left high-n-dry.
I know Mother Nature finds a way, but what's wrong with a constant level for a few weeks during a critical time.
I guess on the flip side it's probably making some good spawning current for Sandies and Stripers up rivers.

Remember that stripers and white bass lay their eggs in current and their eggs tumble during the maturation process. So even low water if the water current is moving they tumble and hatch babies. Unlike crappie and bass and other Nest spawners that build their nest in 6 - 3 foot of water. Don't think we'll see the water drop that much in a 7 to 10 day window. Hoping for a good spawn this year too.
