Headed down this weekend to fish. Haven't seen many reports. Any pointers. Probably be putting in at soldier creek. Plan on deadsticking. Any help would be great

There has been some great fishing up north around Newberry Creek and the oil wells.  Fishing mid lake around Caney and the Cross has been really slow.

I've been fishing out west.  One day it's great.  The next day it's slow.  [smile]

Fishing has been good in 45 fow.

Good info, Ax.  I think I'll try up North this weekend.  I've fished the Caney creek around past the cross up to the island area the last couple of weekends, and they're there, but it is slow and takes a while to fill up the box.
