Went out of HP right over to the same spot
Immediately caught one nice SB and one really nice stripe. Then....nadda. Went looking west and nothing but giant bait balls. Picked at a frw small ones. Go back to the OK side of North island and saw some birds moving around. Saw some tail splashes close to shore in about 3 fow. Eased over there and huge tail splashes all around and shadt flying 4 feet high. We threw everything right in the middle of the action and caught one while it lasted about 30 minutes. Only caught one on a shad square Bill. They would hit a spinner but grab the blades only and then let go. Would not even touch any tw LURE and we threw them all big and small all colors. Never saw that before. Ended up catching about 5 total on the trip. But they are there....no doubt.

need to get me a tank and try the live bait as another option.
Axman - received my order and everything looks great - thanks.  Trying to put together the retirement thing so I'll have more time on the lake.
