Finally getting over a long bout with pneumonia. Headed to the lake this week for the first time since right after the holidays. Usually spend most of my fishing time up north. Anybody been that way lately?  How is the water color north of the Roosevelt? I'll be in a aluminum Triton, stop and say Hi if you're up that way. Btw- congrats to the SOG tourney winners. Nice to see the young uns out fishing.  Good luck to all.

Great boat you're sailing on. Love fishing myself. It's therapy for my soul. How was fishing north? [smile]

I find it really relaxing when you do fishing.

Found fishing north of the Bridge pretty iffy.  Pretty good top water action shallow early (like 30 minutes before sunrise, barely see the bank. Gone much after that) After that pretty scattered action and not much on size to talk about. Fished Mon. evening and all day Tues. north and never saw another boat striper fishing. Couple of boats running jug lines and that was it.  Finally went south Wed. and found fish under birds just south of Catfish bay and around Alberta Creek. Also got into some surfacing action. Didn't catch much of any size. Had to slab ouse a swim bait under the surfacers to get anything any size at all. Encouraged by the early top water action thou, that'll get better as the water cools. Fun to be back on texoma at any rate. Good luck to all
