Fish are biting all over this lake. Each day our boats all go different places and all catch em good [smile] sassy shad is my go to bait right now but they can be caught just about anyway you prefer. So many gulls out there it's silly. These are what we kept and released many many many more.

Nice haul Chris. Can you share your presentation, deep, shallow, ledges, points and what areas you are fishing?

When I say all over I do mean all over...you can't go more than 1/2 a mile before you run into another patch of gulls. Spots are determined by many variables such as wind and water temps. Certain times of year they do different things and the fall is a very easy time of year. The quality fish require a lot more knowledge and the reason experienced guides consistently produce is this knowledge of structure and fish behavior. Right now they are deep and shallow all over the lake and will bite slabs, rubber, topwater, hard baits.a-rigs,live bait and just about anything you want to throw, troll or drop on em. If you want me to say go to washita point and use slabs in 30' of water well some days that does work and some days it doesn't. You never know what each day will bring but as a guide I enjoy the challenge

Nice trip Kahuna! That's a pile of roosters. Been awhile since I pheasant hunted. Used to tear them up in western Kansas.
