We are taking the soldiers out this Saturday so I've been looking around.
Of course with the northern coming in Friday night (if the weather dude is right), scouting may be for naught.
I have hit Rock Creek, Sand Creek, and Mac Creek. Same situation as I've been seeing. Lots of fish and TOO MUCH bait
Yesterday George Pratt and I hit the west. Cardinal Cove, Buncombe Creek and West/Wood Island cut. We had a nice boat ride and then a great cheeseburger at Patsy's; even though George ate turkey and dressing.......
Found the same thing. We did get into the sand bass up in the back of Cardinal Cove. Lots of birds flying. Few birds working.
Fish caught on belly spinners.
I wore George out. I caught one; he caught none.
Caught the dumb fish on 5/8 ounce belly spinners.
