Fished a couple hours this evening about 2 miles east of highport on the north river ledge in front of islands. Caught some nice cats including a 19 lbr. ALSO caught a nice lil 6lb striper. All caught on fresh dead shad in about 30 fow

I tell you what, that ipilot trolling motor has been a complete game changer for me. Being able to put that thing on anchor lock and not screw with actual anchors makes everything SO much easier. If i don't catch fish in 30 minutes im leaving to try another spot. Having to screw with 2 anchors everytime you want to move just isn't efficient

I just got a fishfinder that will support controlling one of those, may have to break down and put a trolling motor on my Sea Fox

Probably the best fishing invention to come along in the last few years. iPilot spot lock is great.
Now we need the fish finder to lock on a school of fish and have the trolling motor follow them.
As you can see I am getting old and lazy.

thanks, I write software for a living, but that thing still intimidates me, but it sure is nice going over all my favorite trolling places and finding rocks, seems like everywhere I've had success trolling I see rocks
