Roger Brown and I fished today and after running around for 30 minutes we ended up with
what happened to be a perfect drift . Fished this one area for over an hour with only one other boat , a guide for Chris Carey that i didn't know . We caught over our limits of nice box fish plus our overs keeping only four deep hooked fish for Roger's dinner .  We left them biting at 9:00 as i could smell pancakes at Patsy's .

Great report George! Did you use live bait or slab?

Thanks for a nice report george. I was beginning to think all the fishermen had been abducted by aliens. I'd like to report, but first I've got to figure out how to catch something over 8 inches long. I was treated to a good crappie trip on brushpiles at RR, but that don't interest many Texoma, dyed in the wool striper guys!

Pokes89,
We started off throwing top water , threw some swim baits and dropped slabs to find the larger fish .
Going to give it another shot today and see what happens ??

I've been catfishing from the bank a Sherwood Shores. As I look back to the southeast in the early morning I've been seeing some very large schools of striper blowing up the area. A lot of them are big stripers but to far off the bank to reach. I never see any boats fishing for them.

Buddy of mine caught 14 in. Sand Bass by the swimming area at East Burns. Also, he was  catching several overs in the same area on umbrella rigs. He was trolling because there was no surface action at the time. Early Sept.1
