Not sure what part of the lake is best for you but the road going down to the ramp at Walnut Creek Marina is usable, believe it's $5 to launch.  the ramp at Buncombe Creek Marina is also open but not sure on the launch fee, heard unconfirmed report they're requiring a yearly pass for like $35 or so, but not sure, prolly be best to call.

Thank you very much for the replies DCurt and Kahuna. I sore my boat over near HighPort Marina so it is a bit of a travel to pick it up and transport it around to the OK side. Is there any known information for the status of the ramps at Lowes HighPort

Thanks for clearing up the Buncombe launch fees Kahuna, it makes sense now as it was Memorial Day Weekend when the person I was talking to was told it'd be $35.

Charles folks have been launching off the parking lot at HighPort, probably be helpful to have two people so you can back in far enough, etc. and I'd still go prepared to get your feet wet in case it's shallow and you don't feel comfortable powering up on to the trailer you can get out and crank it up, etc..

sounds great i will have a helper with me that should keep my feet dry. It is a tri-toon boat so the trailer does a real good job of keeping my prop off the ramp so i should be good. Do you know if there is room in the parking lot let to park out of the water.
