Bait was tough this morning at first. 5 a throw, until I found them in shallow water, then it was 40 a throw.
Tried drifting my big fish spot but there wasn't enough wind. Left there and found birds working over a massive school. We drifted for an hour on top of those, pulling 2 and 3 at a time kept 10 long fish up to 8 pounds and threw 4 more back. We drifted out of those and I never could find them again. Pulled our 40 limit right there and spent the rest of the morning looking. Solid, healthy fish, all caught on live bait.
