We ran juglines and striper fished for a few hours while they soaked. The jugs have been a slam dunk lately. Sometimes no longer than a 20 minute soak and there's fish on each one. As for the stripers. The bite was sluggish. We managed a half a dozen and probably had that many more on. All on live bait. I have deadsticked every trip lately and have yet to out produce live shad with them. They are catching fish. But the live stiff has out fished them at least 5:1 in my boat recently. Most of the stripers I have been fishing have been in 45-70 ft of water. Fishing about 30 feet down. Then up to about 25 ft once you get them active. Here is yesterday's pic.
